Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Writion uses only the cookies required for the application to work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Session cookies (essential). Provided by Supabase, our database and authentication provider. These keep you signed in as you move around the application. They are strictly necessary — disabling them will prevent you from logging in.
Bot protection. Cloudflare Turnstile, used on our public forms, may set a cookie. This is a security measure to keep automated sign-ups out. It does not track you across websites.
Payments. If you subscribe, Stripe may set cookies as part of processing your payment and protecting against fraud. Stripe is our payment processor; your card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by Writion.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics on our public website pages to understand how people find and use Writion. This tells us which pages are useful; it is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not used inside the application itself.
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking essential session cookies will stop you signing in to Writion. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your use of the application at all.
If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, we will update this page. The effective date above will tell you when it last changed.
